In furtherance of its mission, the overall goal of the New Mexico Gay Men’s Chorus is three-fold: 1) to bring together members of. The chorus takes on the music of composer Andrew Lippa with a compelling double feature. Each season includes two major concerts: Holiday (December) and Pride (June); and two smaller concerts: a Halloween Masquerade and a Valentine Cabaret.
Now in our 44th Season, the mission of the New Mexico Gay Men’s Chorus is to foster a vibrant, inclusive community through the power of music, celebrating the rich diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and our state. I Am Harvey Milk tells the story of the groundbreaking civil rights leader who became one of the first openly gay elected officials in the U.
The Music of Sir Elton John. Its season runs annually from September through June. The New Mexico Gay Men's Chorus will be performing at the historic Kimo Theatre in Albuquerque, NM on November 8th, at PM. This concert will showcase the powerful voices of the chorus as they present a selection of inspiring songs celebrating love, equality, and the LGBTQ+ community.
